About Haringey
Haringey is a North London borough known for the Alexandra Palace, Bruce Castle and Tottenham Hotspurs Football Club. The area is a mix of residential neighbourhoods, transport hubs, urban parks and retail areas.
Alexandra Palace, or as the locals call it, Ally Pally, is one of the top attractions of the neighbourhood. The Grade II listed entertainment and sports venue stands on green grounds and offers great views over the city of London. Local landmarks also include 16th century manor house Bruce Castle, arts venue Jacksons Lane and Highpoint I – the residential block renowned as one of the best examples of international style in London.
Haringey is served by the tube as well as National Rail. Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale are the biggest stations – both served by the underground and national rail trains. The Haringey area is also served by many London buses.
