Sheffield, the so-called Steel City, has come a long way since its starring turn in The Full Monty, transforming into one of the most characterful destinations in the North of England. Sheffield is also well connected to other cities in the North of England by train, and a direct link to London St Pancras International train station takes 2 hours. Sheffield train station is a 10-minute walk from the city centre and has its own on-site pub.
