The Old Town Hostel opened in 2015. Free WiFi is provided in the building. You will also have access to a shared Kitchen area and a lounge area. Our multilingual staff is looking forward to hosting you for your stay in Berlin.

Located in the center of Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, The Old Town Hostel offers accommodation in a neighborhood full of entertainment. Bars, clubs, galleries, cafes, boutique shops are all within walking distance as well as public transport stops for exploring Berlin.
Places worth visiting in the area are the Kulturbrauerei, Helmholtzplatz with various cafes, bars and restaurants, and Mauerpark with its famous flea market. Alexanderplatz can be reached within 5 minutes by subway.
On three floors we offer 25 private rooms, all with shared bathrooms on each floor. Some of the rooms are equipped with a customizable mood light, allowing you to set the color of the light manually.

Hey! Stayed here for four nights. Centrally located to a bunch of lovely things in walking distance or super close to easy public transportation options. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly, which is wonderful. The private bedroom with shared bathroom option is very minimal, but has everything you need to sleep and get ready for your days out and about.
I hadn’t thought about, unfortunately, but pro tip: bring power adapter if you’re coming from outside the country. (Seems obvious, I know.)

This hostel is very clean and covers all the basics. The kitchen was well-stocked and clean. The hostel is very quiet, which is good if you are trying to sleep.

Had amazing stay at old town, definitely the best hostel i've stayed in. Room was extremely clean, as well as the shared bathrooms. There were plenty of showers and toilets, I never had to wait for one. Other facilities were great, including a lounge and kitchen. Free coffee and tea was a bonus! Only minor things to consider - no safety deposit box, only one plug socket in an annoying place and room was noisy so I would suggest ear plugs. Despite this, I would happily stay again
