The MEININGER Hotel Berlin Tiergarten used to be a brewery, at the former Schultheiss brewery grounds. The interior design of the MEININGER Hotel Tiergarten is a reminder of this time and builds a bridge to the present. The new building has over 238 rooms with 848 beds. Our young and multilingual team is there for you 24 hours a day with help and advice. Under such circumstances, there is really nothing stopping you from having an unforgettable stay!
The name of the district is called 'Moabit', which developed into one of the scene and trendy districts of Berlin. The convenient location at the metro station 'Turmstraße' means all of the citys sights can easily be reached by U-Bahn. The hotel is literally based on a shopping mall, the guests will have access to a shopping center with more than 100 shops. The State Park is just across the street and a nice walk by foot over the Spree takes less than 15 minutes. Pubs, Cafes and restaurants are spread out around the hotel.
We offer accommodation in single and twin rooms, shared rooms or a dormitory. All rooms have their own bathroom with a shower and toilet and are equipped with a TV set. No need to bring bedding - this is included in the accommodation (only private rooms/ extra cost for dormitories).
The guests can relax in the big lounge, drink a beer, have a snack at the bar 24/7 or get social by playing table football in the game zone. Breakfast is served every day from 6:30 till 10:30 and only costs 9.90 Euro. Alternative is the guest kitchen for everyone who wants to cook. There also is a washing machine and dryer to use.

Great hostel for a short stay. I would recommend Meininger, it is a very big place so the atmosphere for meeting people is difficult unless they are in your room. The 6 person dorm was clean and well structured. If you are into clubbing I would recommend staying in the Meininger Hostel East Side in Berlin, I had to train about 30 minutes each night to get to that area to go out.

Good location and breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. We had a family room which was ridiculously small for four of us, even compared to other Meininger Hostels. Couldn’t open more than one suitcase at a time. Close to public transport.

Worth every penny! Would definitely prefer MEININGER hotels from now on. The staff, the facilities, the cleanliness, the breakfast, and so on, all were quite good.
