Mosaic Hostel is located near Piazza della Repubblica, Villa Borghese and the buses and trains of Termini station. A hostel newly relocated and renovated in 2010, located a five-minute walk from Termini station and Piazza della Repubblica in central Rome, Hostel Mosaic is of the highest standard for budget accommodation in Italy.
The hostel spans five floors and provides the latest amenities, security and comfort for the independent traveller or anyone wishing to stay in peaceful, calm surroundings after an exhausting day sightseeing in the most exciting and beautiful city in the world.
We offer a wide range of dorms and private rooms varying from two beds to four beds. Our two-bed private rooms and dorms have their own air conditioning. Choose between ensuite facilities or standard, where the bathroom is situated on the corridors. All rooms have linen included and high-quality beds. Towels are available for hire or sale.
Lockers are available in all dorms and safe deposit in all rooms. The whole hostel is covered by video surveillance making it comfortable and secure.
Reception is open 24 hours and there is no curfew. We have international, friendly and multi-lingual speaking staff.
Free luggage storage is available at reception if your room is not ready yet, you can safely leave them here and come back later for check-in, even after the check-out until late in the evening and not after 9 pm

Overall an ok place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere cheap in Rome. The free coffee in the morning was nice. The offer to store your luggage before check in and after check out was nice and very convenient. About a 30 min walk to the centre of Rome but not really a problem for me as I enjoyed the walk.
My main quarrels with this hostel are:
• The dorm room provided looks nothing like the one in the photos. I felt very falsely advertised.
• Felt very uncomfortable when the guy working at reception

The location was great, very close to train station and good food. The rooms were a pleasant surprise because the 2 bed mixed dorm was basically a hotel room. I wasn’t expecting housekeeping, so they had to move my things. The private bathroom was great, but the shower was awful. The water basically came out in drops. Free coffee in the morning was awesome! Not much of a social hostel, but I wasn’t looking for that so I was happy anyway.

It was a really enjoyable stay. A pretty far walk from everything because the metro wasn’t working when I was there. Not much to do there, but it’s a nice place
