We are Canbe Hospitality’s largest Dublin tourist hostel, situated in the famous Georgian Dublin to the north of the city centre, just 15min walk from O'Connell Street, 20min walk from Temple Bar, and 15min walk from Trinity College. Our strategic location (we are the closest hostel to Dublin Airport) makes Gardiner House Hostel very popular among travellers and backpackers seeking a central location with great public transport connections to explore Dublin & Ireland – with buses (5min walk), trains (Conolly Station 12min walk), and trams (10min walk) within short distance. Discover the historic city centre, lively nights, and plenty of cool areas to relax, including an outdoor terraced area and a jacuzzi available on weekends.

Our tourist hostel has numerous accommodation options available to suit your needs and budget, including shared rooms (from 4 to 18 beds), and private rooms (twins or double). We also have everything you need to make yourself at home, including a laundry room (additional fee), free board games and free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24/7.

Additional Information:

• No curfew – come and go any time of the day as you please!
• Reception is open 24 hours – just pop in if you have any questions or need any recommendation!
• There is a shared kitchen open 24 hours (closed 3 times a day for cleaning) where guests can cook their own meals, as well as use the fridge to store food and drinks.
• Breakfast is included and available every morning from 7am-10:30am.
• A cosy TV room with a huge range of DVD movies, books, and free Netflix access is also available.
• Free luggage room available (even before check-in & after check-out!).
• Car park for €10 per night (pre-booking is needed).
• Towels can be rented for only €2 at reception.
• Hairdryers are available upon request (free of charge).

Check-in & Age Policy:

• Check-in starts at 3pm.
• Check-out time is 11am.
• Valid Passport (Non-EU citizens) or ID/Driver's Licence (EU citizens) is required from all guests to complete the check-in procedure.
• A debit/credit card under the guest's name is required upon arrival.
• For groups of 4 or more guests, a security deposit of €30 per person (one card transaction only) is required upon arrival for incidentals/misconduct. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out.
• Age Restrictions: By Irish Regulations hostels are not allowed to host kids under 8. Guests between 8 and 17 years old are allowed when accompanied by an adult parent/guardian and cannot share rooms with other guests outside their party.
• Payments (total or partial depending on the rate plan you chose) are taken 24 hours prior to the arrival date, and no refund will be provided in case of cancellation, modifications, early check-out and when policies are not followed.
