Centrally located in Edinburgh's West End near the ancient and beautiful Dean Village and Water of Leith. Belford Hostel is a unique and lively converted church.
Our dormitory accommodation is located within the old church hall complete with stained glass windows! Dorm sizes range from 2-10.
It's a great place to relax and unwind after a hard days travelling or sightseeing, and an ideal spot to meet fellow travellers.

Every bed has a double power plug for your phones and computers
Free locker to use during your stay (provide own lock)
Every guest will receive a door key
Private double and twin rooms are also available
We offer a left luggage service on departure
Check-in time is from 2pm. Check out time is 10am
Art Lovers will love the decor
No under 12's in our hostels under any circumstances.
All under 18's (no under 12's) must be booked into a room with an adult/guardian. They are not permitted to share dormitories with guests who are not part of their family/travel group and therefore all the beds in a room must be booked if you are travelling with anyone under 18 (no under 12's)
'Non-refundable bookings' will be charged within 24 hours of the booking being made and as stated, are non-refundable!
Special Events - Easter, Hogmanay, rugby weekends, etc - bookings will be charged 1 month in advance, and are non-refundable. If the card is declined, the booking will be cancelled.
Groups of 8 or more must contact our booking office before making the reservation - reservations@hoppo.com. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the booking. The deposit is not refundable.

I felt safe here, and the beds are comfortable and you have your own power plug (which took ages for my phone to charge). But the toilets near the dorms were constantly filthy, and the female showers are far away from the dorms. The dorm I was in had no windows, and the lockers were too small to even safely fit my day pack in. There is some incredible art on the walls, and the staff were helpful and friendly. There wasn’t a great atmosphere, everyone seemed to stick to themselves.

Very Clean and Tidy Environment , Unfortunately, Tourist season Music Concerts , the up and Coming Festival , And Golf opens , , Is a Problem for myself As I Am In Edinburgh for Business , I Stayed There Thursday 25th may tried to book the Following weeks But Fully Booked at Present

This place is awesome! Located in a former church, the place is stunning. All areas sparkling shine, very clean. Bathroom and showers spacious. Comfortable beds. Staff very friendly. Spaces for share with other guest. It was really cool, I think will be my first option when I come back to Edinburgh.
