Good hostel, lots of places to chill, convenient location, pleasant staff.
Definitely needs to upgrade the bunkbeds though. For a $40 hostel, they shouldn't have $10 hostel-level rickety metal beds that creak and sway when you climb into them. Mattresses were comfy and clean, though!

What a wonderful experience! I have stayed in a few other hostels but none compared to Auberge NOLA. I met some of the most amazing people both staff and guests. Everyone was very respectful of others space and belongings and I never felt unsafe in any way. This hostel is advertised as a social experience and I couldn't agree more. If you are traveling to NOLA I can not recommend enough. There are daily excursions that allow you to get to know each other as well as the city. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, the sheets and blankets were soft, and there were plenty of towels. I will be back : )
