We're super close to Te Papa, Courtenay Place, and the Wellington waterfront, so it's easy to explore the city on foot. We have room types to suit all travellers including plenty of private and ensuited facilities. All guests can enjoy our fully-equipped kitchens, TV lounges, bike storage, and 5GB free WiFi per day.
Our Front Desk hours are 9 am to 5 pm.
Check-in is from 2 pm onwards.
If you are arriving earlier you're welcome to store your luggage and hang out with us in our communal areas. Free WiFi, tea, and coffee! We recommend booking the night prior if you are arriving in the early morning, please check availability and amend your booking online.
If you are arriving after our Front Desk is closed, no problem! We will send you self-check-in information on the day of your arrival, or alternatively, we have a Night Manager who will be here to help you.
We do offer luggage storage (free of charge) on site, please ask our friendly staff at the hostel.
Our hostel is strictly non-smoking.
The guest can cancel free of charge until 1 day before arrival. The guest will be charged the cost of the first night if they cancel within 1 day before arrival.

Average stay, nothing special once again from a YHA hostel.
- Staff don’t seem eager to help and seem slow in their job.
- Large and well equipped kitchen and lounge chill area.
- The bed has no electricity sockets or charging points next to it, which is very disappointing for this day and age.
- The rooms have lockers were to safely store belongings which was good.
The hostel is in a good location, no atmosphere whatsoever and nothing special whatsoever about it.

Room was perfect, clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen space was over crowded and unclean also a shortage of utensils required. Staff we friendly, however were not very friendly when asked about parking/check in times. Good central location. Not many parking options available in central Wellington City, however, we found a small parking complex next to a gym on a neighbouring street which was very reasonably priced ($40 for 3 days/2 nights)
