Welcome to Nomads Queenstown - a multi-award winning hostel overlooking the snowcapped mountains and right on the shores of beautiful Lake Wakapitu.
Whether you are travelling solo, as part of a couple or a group, our huge range of rooms will definitely cover what you need! From hotel style king rooms, to more social shared spaces - all with access to our beautiful kitchen, movie room and lounge - complete with roaring fireplace!
Our friendly reception team will take care of all your needs during your stay, and if you want to go exploring Queenstown or….anywhere…our travel gurus can sort out your trip of a lifetime!
As we are located in the heart of Queenstown one side of our property backs onto a popular social street (Searle Lane). Due to this we do experience noise from local bars especially over the weekend so please contact us directly via email if you are a lighter sleeper and we will do our best to allocate you to a room on the Church Street side of our property.
We also have free ear plugs available at our 24 hour reception if required so please don't hesitate to ask our friendly reception team for these.

Nomads Queenstown is in an ideal location fo exploring beautiful Queenstown. Public transport is close by and the city centre is at the front door.
Our room was neat and clean and all we needed for our overnight stay.
The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, which was great.
We enjoyed our stopover at Nomads.

This is a great hostel for socialising and being in the city centre. Sadly the Kitchen is tiny, always so crowded, not enough of anything (especially forks!). But the bathrooms and rooms were good, good chill spaces and the cinema room was great. Sadly the kitchen was almost always dirty and our room didn’t get cleaned or bins emptied once in our 4 night stay.
